Isolation & Creativity, 2020

The calming moment looking into the color of the water.

In light of the current situation, we have decided to keep photoshoot bookings small.
I am currently working on a Digital photography workshop. I will offer a free introductory course and a more intensive paid course. Doing something creative in your home is good for the spirit and the soul. Feel free to message me to send an e-mail with more details.

Are you working at home, creating photography? It’s a perfect time to get creative.
As a creative, I can offer free tips to help you with your photography workflow. Create beautiful black and white photographs in your garden and environment. Feel free to mail me with questions.

In the past 14 years, I have worked isolated.

As a photographer and creative, we work isolated. I have worked from home for as long as I remember. I have always worked to connect with people and brands and help out in a way that I can. I worked more free hours in my career than paid hours. I offered help more often than not and didn’t always get treated the same way or expect a return.
I love my work. I crave the connections, the challenge, and the detail. Obsessive ideas, mutual drive, and a compulsive creating spirit are what make working relationships a unique unity. I get over-excited about new ideas to share with a client. I have been incredibly fortunate to work with so many inspired and driven people who have made me a part of their business.

What I am wondering about in our current situation.

  1. Why do people only become nice when there is a crisis affecting everyone?
  2. Why do more people not work from home?
  3. Does it have to be so hard to become more inclusive?
  4. Why do we have to pay so much for connectivity?
  5. Why do people not give more of their time and knowledge away for free?
  6. How long will we remember this situation before slipping back into toxic routines and behavior?

Message me if I can assist with your photography, film, and marketing ideas.

In times of stress, creativity triumphs.

It is crazy times that need perspective, gratitude, and to share positivity. .As a photographer and image-maker, creating colorful pictures in open spaces seem to be the right way to share the privilege of having space.
